In the Valley Pisueña are the unique Karst formations that characterize a landscape of dreams:the park on the nature of Cabarceno, nestled in an old mine removal of iron and today has become a major tourist attractions of Cantabria.
In Park Cabarceno develop important research work in collaboration with universities and national and foreign institutions, aimed at conserving species in serious danger of extinction (African Elephant, Brown bear, white rhinoceros, lynx…). Through this work, most of the animals that live here are reproduced successfully.
